Was shipped a damaged baseball glove after buying it over the phone. After asking to return was told I would have to pay the cost to return. People here clearly don't care about real customer service and would rather send you damaged goods then be honest. Do not order anything from these people with out getting eyes on it first. They will even use pictures of a non damaged item and send the damaged one.

Sportco has been my go-to spot for shoes and sports equipment for years. They are always friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I appreciate their connection to our community by sponsoring kids sports teams, and the owner was coaching one of them, too.

I order equipment for our small private school's sports program. I've tried ordering from many different places and catalogues, even from other Sportcos. Thankfully, I took a chance using this location and met Ken Wilson. He does the research to find the products that fit our needs, our price, and our timetable. This could be the only sports store in Ontario that isn't owned by Canadian Tire.

Had a bad experience with skate rental at this shop for a few reasons: 1. Skate selection is very limited, not enough size, skates are quite old. 2. Takes me almost an hour just to rent 2 skates. Not all staffs are knowledgeable, I ended renting skates that hurt my feet while skating. 3. Total rip off for: 2 skates for 1 day = $60. I could've spent a little more and get a brand new one and use it forever. I rent 2 skates for myself and girl friend on Sunday, and Monday is a Family Day which I couldn't come back to return. I was charged for the day that I couldn't return because shop is closed. Pretty ridiculous. Other shops won't charge you for the day that they are closed. I'm sure the owner said I wouldn't be charged but then... Will take my need for ice skates somewhere else.

Always helpful and takes time with the customer. First choice for asking questions about gear.
