The female manager was rude. We kindly asked if there was an option to receive a bit of a discount considering how much we've spent over the years and the amount we were just about to spend. The manager said "the last time someone told her that they spent a lot, they were lying." The manager has no tact. Unfortunately we did not want to leave to go to another store because of time constraints. In hindsight, we should have just left and not purchased anything. We are done with this location.

Excellent store for hockey but besides the fellas sharpening skates the staff are a complete joke. When the customer has to search or call out for an employee to check them out at the cash that’s not good and it’s happened on a few occasions. Im not mantracker. It shouldn’t be difficult for the customer to pay.

I spent a small fortune in this place over the years with my 3 kids in hockey and the moment I tried to return a defective hockey item with receipt I get the run around and the rudest attitude from the manager acting like I don't deserve my money refunded for the junk I just purchased. Since then I go to the Oakville location, much friendlier and courteous service. Pro Hockey Life Heartland you really need to learn from your sister store and competitors.

We have been in this store many time however this is my first time leaving a review... We were in Hockey Life for 3 hours as my son needed all new goalie equipment. I just wanted to say the level of customer service we received from Matt was 10+!!!! He helped my son with everything. His knowledge on the equipment was incredibly and so helpful. Thank you very much Matt for making this experience a positive one!

THE worst customer service ever. Like most hockey parents I have spent $1000s in this store and yet they never seem to care. They have a monopoly on people's need for quick merchandise fixes close by. Asked to have my son's foot measured so we can know what size he needs and female assistant decided to scan his foot with the new Bauer 3D imager (her choice, not ours). I asked why she was doing it whilst he was still wearing thick ski socks and had his pants stuffed in his socks (as he had just slipped off his snow boots). Her reply was that it doesn't matter and it doesn't measure that part of the foot. (Complete BS as his whole foot had thick ski socks on and it DOES measure the ankle cuff and top of arch to heel which accounts for 2 of the 4 measurements that dictate the range bias between the Vapor, Nexus or Supreme selection). She went away with the wrong measurements and whilst away I read what it said on the iPad conneted to the machine and I quizzed her about it when she returned and she basically started arguing with me that it didn't matter anyway what the machine said. She reluctantly redid the scan and it came out with a completely different size. When I confronted her about it she went into defence mode and tried to say that it was still the same Nexus range skates that it was advising to try, this, despite it being a completely different size from the first attempt, and she thought this meant that her arguement was justified. [ I was there on 29th Dec 2017 and there were no other people waiting in line]. This is why people are fed up with ProHockeyLife and instead go to shops like WestStar and Berts. You get proper service at these places and not some minimum waged clown who would rather be somewhere else and doesn't either play hockey or understand the product or tools they are using. Additionally 3 separate members of my minor atom AA team have had to quickly re-square their edges using a Y tool or in rink machines between a game warm up and period start whistle at rinks due to prohockeylife skate sharpening services fails, Specifically that they (I presume) do so many skates back to back and use staff with a severe lack of experienced as machine operators at minimum wage that they are not checking the symmetry after each skate comes off the machines.
