Went to Houle to try on sizes for a Spring Hockey team at 4:50pm. The clothing/sizing area was already closed off with a bike (they close it at 5pm). They wouldn't let my son try on a jacket because they knew he wasn't going to be placing the order from them, which was true, we only wanted to try it on. They told me to call their Boss tomorrow and take it up with him. Their attitude was not helpful and I will think hard about going back to purchase equipment and skate sharpening for my two boys. 2 minutes of good customer service would have kept a repeat customer coming back to the store.

I've been to Houle's a few times now and have been disappointed with the service their employees provide..5 employees behind the front cash.. no one asking customers what help they required. Qas going to ask about goalie pads for my daughter but no one helped.. also prices not clearly displayed. Disappointing..

1. I bought hockey pants there for son and needed a different size and just wanted to do an exchange and it was the next day. Tags were still on it but couldnt find receiept. Answer: No 2. I bought a skate sharpening pass here and realized there was a good place very close to my home so I asked if i could apply the cost of sharpening pass to store credit. Answer: No 3. I brought jerseys in to have name bars sewed on. They kept them for two days then called on the day they were to be picked up and said they weren't washed and they refused to sew them. Because I feel the management here is awful, I try to go elsewhere unless absolutely neccessary.
