Great arena with tons of parking and a good pro shop as well as a restaurant to have a drink or grab some food after the game. This arena has lots of history and is really big with 4 rinks but the only thing the sucks about this place is that all the rinks are super cold inside when your watching the game. Some heat would be nice.

A little run down and parking is weirdly laid out but there are lots of ice pads and the food concession is pretty good for a hockey rink in Toronto.

The pub was neatly presented, the ordering at the snack bar was fluent. There was an abundance of fully functioning vending machines. There is one top notch arena and three sub par arenas, which are supposed to be the main attraction, but the building as a whole makes up for it. There are even custodial staff on-site at all times.

I have been coming to Chesswood to play hockey for more than 20 years now. Either skating clinics or playing pickup with friends it has been a long time. Dressing rooms are usually messy after a rowdy pick up game and the toilets in the rooms are nasty. Ice surfaces are a mix of really bad and not terrible. Staff is really nice especially the guy in the pro shop. One of the best skate sharpenings in the city. There aren't many great arenas in the city so this is just standard. Maybe a better handle on cleaning the dressing rooms would be nice but otherwise I will keep coming back year after year for my pick up game.

Surprisingly good coffee at the snack bar. Seating/stands good for video recording.
