This place is definitely local...Been there quite a bit in the last almost 3 months, ppl are friendly. Drinks seem pretty inexpensive.. personally I go to stare at the sexy eye candy😁. Only reason its not a 5.. Sometimes I feel not 100% welcome, but that's not my issue.

Full of a bunch of tools. Cash only. Not a good vibe. I’ve read other reviews that mention similar comments that reflect the experience my brother and I had... We had barely ordered a beer before being confronted by some serious passive aggression from a preppy local sitting at the bar. I agree with previous comments in that this bar seems to promote discrimination against people who aren’t locals. If you are visiting Banff leave this dive bar to the locals because they don’t seem to want you there. I’m certainly not going back. P.S. Check out some of the owner responses to bad reviews. It’s a perfect example of the passive aggressive nature of this bar.

I love this bar - from Calgary and live the relaxed feeling here - staff were wonderful ! I recommend trying this place for a cheap pint and great chat.

How can you not love this bar!!! The staff was right on me for a beverage and they were friendly as hell!! What a great bar to come to. Not only was the staff great but they have a great vibe! I can see why this is a local bar. Cheers to John (Manager) for welcoming me and to Shane/Frenchy for A+ service! I will be back for sure next time i'm in Canada. Hats off GENTS!!!!!

Good hole-in-the-wall pub. Looking for a beer and some greasy food, can’t go wrong. TVs showing sports games are a plus. Are there better options in town? I’ll let you decide.
