Shell place has the potential to be a great venue. I saw lamb of God, Behemoth and Slayer there in the summer of 2017 and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I've also been there for a few football games and for a few outdoor events like the terrible "beer, bands, bacon" event. The only event I enjoyed was that one concert and that's because I didn't have to sit down. The seats are uncomfortable to the point where sitting on them for an hour will hurt your legs for days. I'm not a big guy, and even I find the seats narrow. The prices for everything are hilarious. I had to pay $6 for a bottle of water. Outrageous. Also good luck avoiding the sun while there because the on a hot day there is no shade anywhere. The most recent event at shell place, as of this writing, was beer, bands, bacon. You were confined to a small area, the music sucked, the drinks were non existent and the undercooked non bacon themed food made most of my party sick. Save your money and watch sports at home.
