A couple nice baseball field. Well maintained by the city. We clean up garbage left by teenagers, drunks and addicts here on the weekend

Run down sports facility. Could use some upgrades and full enclosure of dugouts to keep the junkies out. Kids shouldn't have to be faced with used needles, graffiti and other garbage in the dugouts when they come to the field to play baseball. City of Nanaimo - get on it!

July 15 / 2017. To day at Sid Gyro Park a ball tournament.BC is supposed to be noted as good recruiting grounds for baseball players into the major leagues. I watched for a while,as I kid I wanted to play but the coach wasn't that good. These kids looked like they were having fun.
