A friend and I had our skis stolen last December, and believed that the thieves may try to sell them to Play It Again. My friend went to Play It Again and spoke with a manager about our stolen skis. He told him the make of the skis, their sizes and the make of the bindings. The manager then told us that he would alert the rest of the staff and ensured that they would watch out for our skis and that it would not be necessary for us to check regularly ourselves and they would call if anything turned up. Three months later in March, I received a call from the police saying that they recovered my skis. I went to RCMP to identify the skis, and when they were returned to me, I asked how they were recovered, and he said they were found at Play It Again Sports, and my skis were handed back to me with a $249.99 Play It Again price tag stuck to it. I understand that Play It Again Sports receives several skis throughout the season, however, I would not be angry with them if the manager didn't take on a responsibility he could not handle, telling us that there was no need for us to visit the store regularly ourselves and that they could be trusted to report stolen merchandise. Instead, the thief walked right into the store, and Play It Again Sports ignorantly purchased stolen skis with no questions asked. The next time we spoke with management staff, they avoided the topic and tried to brush it off, and offered no apology.

My family and I shop here for many of our sports equipment needs. We've always been very pleased with the advice, service and quality of the items including a wide selection of seasonal sports items. We highly recommend Play It Again Sports!

Great store. The best thing is you can rent a whole season of ski or snowboard equipment for one low price. The best thing is if the kids outgrow them, bring it back for a bigger size. No problem! !!
