Nice area for families with an outdoor park, playing fields, the aquatic center and ice rink. Pool is one of the best in Vancouver although the change rooms could use cleaning more often as there was a lot of hair on the floor. Friendly staff in the community center and always busy. Would highly recommend this park to all the families in the area.

Great mix of community centre, aquatic, rec and ice skating year round. Best pool in Vancouver. And right across the street from Nat Bailey Stadium (short season single A). Be aware of parking restrictions on game day.

It was a beautiful day in the neighbourhood. Sun shining, blue skies and a bunch of energetic old guys (45 YO and older) playing soccer on a Sunday morning. Lots of fun. The area is a sports hub, where the 2010 Winter Olympics hosted curling events. Little Mountain is nearby, a great garden walk on any day, plus a glass enclosed conservatory for those cold snowy winter days.

Great place. Great pool. My kids and I love going there. When ever we have visitors from other countries or provinces, we recommend this pool.

Some ppl complain about Hillcrest pool. But. It is a great pool. There are many families with many kids. But that's great. The staff keep the place as clean as possible. I don't use the rest of the facilities but the pool and the lifeguards are really good. They will ask if you child is under a certain age, which can get tiresome but they are really just keeping your child safe. They are hard working and thoughtful. I think that they could use a bracelet system to help the guards distinguish the younger kids from the older. This was one of the guards feedback and I made a bunch of sense. Either way good people do good work here. Thanks to the guards.
