It's a ball park. It's big. Kids play t-ball there. I'm assuming it is also used for softball and baseball by people of all ages. It's always hot there, but that's probably normal for a ball field. Shading would be nice, though. I recommend taking comfortable chairs or cushions, an umbrella, and refreshments. I'm not sure if they have restrooms on the other side, but i only saw portable toilets near fields 7 and 8. Google Maps only gives directions for one side, but if you are going to fields 6-8 (and perhaps others), just follow Godwin for a closer entrance. From Manassas, it's on the left just after University Blvd and before PW parkway. The sign isn't very big, so you have to watch for it on the left side.
