Great place to sit and hang out with a loved one. We sat underneath a tree that provided tons of shade and just laid there and read books while waiting for a friend. If you plan on doing this bring a mat! The park is luscious and green and has plenty of space for people to do different activities. It's close enough to great food and cafes where if you're hungry you can just take a short walk somewhere and grab a bite to eat.

I was in Toronto for 10 days and my host told me that in Summers, the Christie Pits Park has a Movie night every Sunday. People bring food, snacks, portable chairs, blankets, etc. and enjoy the movie open air. We went there and found atleast 200 people, all having fun and enjoying the movie with a really nice weather. It was a very nice experience. If you get a chance to visit Toronto in the summers, this is a must have experience.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this park. It is the perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon, whether you just finished a run, or bike ride, or even just want to soak in the sun this is a nice park to hang out and enjoy. Also, if you're at this park stop by at the Good Neighbour for good coffee/latte.

Such a cool place to come and chill with your kids, friends or solo. Low-key and quiet its got a perfect vibe for the weekend. Tons of space make it great for bigger get-togethers.

A great park to go hang out with friends, play sports or run around with the family. There's plenty of space for everyone to have their own little picnic without bothering anyone else. In the summer there are hula hoppers and slack liners up around the rim some afternoons, and the picnic tables are free to have a larger gathering of you're so inclined.
