I have been spammed by this business and the owner refuses to remove my email from his list. I have responded numerous times to his emails - by email and phone (emailed 2/10/14 and 10/4/13 so this has been going on for a long time) - and each time I have asked to be removed. He claims he doesn’t check his emails. That is odd because the last email he sent to me on 8/15/14 was for a tryout and the only way you can sign up is by responding to the email- no phone number was given. Customer service is clearly quite low. How long does it take to delete an email contact? 10 seconds? He either refuses to do it, doesn’t know how (!), or enjoys harassing former customers who no longer use his services. This business doesn't have an "Unsubscribe" feature on business emails either which indicates a very low level of professionalism and quality control. If you love being spammed and harassed with useless emails, then ignored when you try to correct the problem, then this is the business for you. Otherwise I recommend New Era for both baseball and softball training in Depew, the Buffalo School of Baseball run by Rick Lancelotti, or even Sports Performance Park in Amherst. The instructors Ive dealt with at the other facilities are more professional and the facilities are significantly better (Ive used all three and rate them significantly higher than Sandlot). Further, most local high schools, travel teams, and colleges run their training programs out of one of the organizations I listed and do not use Sandlot. This is important to know if you want your son or daughter to become familiar with the training regimen of higher end programs and to establish contacts with higher end high school, travel, and college coaches.
