Great leash free park just wish dog owners would poop and scoop after their dogs

Dec 16, 2017
This is a nice park located close to Costco. If you're shopping locally, this is a good place to stop afterwards for a stretch. they have an off leash pen for dog owners, and they must good people because there has never been an incident there. They have playing fields and a play ground for children and youth and creek with light forest for people to explore or find shade. There is no public washroom located here, so make sure you go, before you go. Located at the end of the Burlington hydro light bike and walking trail, it's the last end of the stretch before you have to get back onto the road to continue to the downtown. One development I'd like to see for this Park, is to build a trail tunnel under the train tracks and highway, to link it up to the green space south of the QEW adjacent to Brant Street so pedestrians and cyclists can enjoy a more direct route to Brant street by the court house, and people can access the hydro line trails easier from the city as well, one day the trail could link up to Mapleview and down to the lake and Lake Shore Drive forming a continuous trail from Bronte Creek at Appleby Line, all the way down to Spencer Smith Park and beyond (to Hamilton even), creating a premium venue for running and cycling events in the city.

Great quiet little park. Childrens park, Baseball diamond, trails and a small dog park. We love this quiet little area.
