Great place for a hat and excellent customer service! Bought a navy fedora which looks spot on and when I thought it was slightly tight, I walked in a few week's later and the shop loosened slightly for a perfect fit at no charge. Only place I'll now go for headwear.

The store itself has a great selection of hats and most of the staff is wonderful. This review is for one employee in particular in hopes of management addressing the issue for the sake of future customers. The customer service training needs to be improved for Sophie in particular. She was rude and did not see to care about making a sale or helping our customers. Her behavior was questionable, especially her tendency to lie or manipulate information. I'm not sure how she was able to get a job at this great shop.

After a few beers across the street I decided to purchase a hat at Laird...I had been looking online for a few weeks as I have a trip to Seville coming up the chap behind the counter was spot on in helping me choose the style I needed .The quality of the hat is just pure class beautifully made indeed and I had many comments whilst walking around London and when I got home to the Village. I will be back for a flat cap in the Autumn . I brought my hat in the New Row shop.

I love this hat shop. The selection is fantastic and the staff are down to earth guys who are more than happy to help you choose the perfect piece from their collection. These hatters are the 'new kids on the block', and I'd say they sell hats at premium prices but aren't quite as premium as some of the big hatters in London, such as Bates, Lock or Christy's. That being said they are often open to a bit of haggling and I have to admit I have bought more than a few hats from them so much so they recognised me when I returned. In terms of service I can't fault them, the fact they recognised me made me feel really valued. Overall their selection is great, the quality is fantastic and the prices are on par with the likes of Christy's only, like I say haggling seems to be an option which is nice and that makes them one of the best in London. There are the big three out there - Lock, Bates and Christy's but Laird is truly up there as one of the absolute best on the high street. If you like hats, get in there and pick one or two up and you won't regret it.
