This is a review about the arcade and the food: My boyfriend and I visited Playdium with the hopes that it would top our visit to Dave and Buster's (another arcade place) as we are avid gamers. The website definitely sold us on making the 1 and a half hour drive out to Playdium, but we were sorely disappointed when we arrived. The games did not feel rewarding because on some games the "jackpot" scores (that give you the highest amount of tickets) were rigged so high. For example, the top 10 high scores (averaging at 38,000 points) that were set by players recorded on the game Space Invaders did not match with the high score required to win the jackpot which was 55,000. Whereas at Dave and Buster's, the same Space Invaders game had their "jackpot" score scaling with the skill level of the previous player. My boyfriend and I could both hit the "high score" and both get the jackpot with around 22,000 - 32,000 points. The high score required scaled higher as we got better at the game. Essentially, it felt more rewarding playing games at Dave and Buster's. Now, I will say that Playdium has newer games (games that have seats that move with the screen, and shooter games that had dome-like screens to give you a wider view). And it is also cheaper to recharge your game card at Playdium than at Dave and Buster's. But the games at Dave and Buster's were cheaper to play. The food at Playdium was very mediocre. We ordered two hot dog meals and nachos. Our meal came with fries and a small drink; we chose coke. Do yourselves a favour and just buy a drink from the vending machine (we ended up doing that). I am hoping it's a one time occurrence and nobody else experiences this, but our coke tasted like plastic mixed with chemicals. I was genuinely worried I'd wake up the next morning feeling sick. The hot dog itself was fine. The fries were soft but edible. And the nachos weren't amazing either. Also, the reward shop. I will have to say that it was almost hard to find something we wanted. Dave and Buster's easily has more interesting items in comparison. However, I will say that the workers at Playdium were wonderful. They were very cheerful and kind! Long review short: I do not plan to visit Playdium again as a date spot. Note: We did not visit the go cart area or batting cages. And mini putt was closed.

We were there for about an hour and a half and spent $40 in credits that we shared among the 4 of us. Great value if you don't wanna play all the time and just have fun watching. They have tons of games and saw a lot of kids there. Initially went for the batting cage but they closed at 9pm that day.

We had so much fun. Lots of 2 -4 player games. They also have a few 4D games for 6 people. It was one busy place. If you have kids it's a great place for game lovers. I'd you have real little ones tho bring a sitter!

It was our first visit. We all enjoyed. Plenty of free parking. The place is big so you do not stand in big lines. Great place for kids and adults to enjoy.

The place has crazy amount of games. The young ones will love it here. The staff is really friendly. You will have hours of fun with plenty of arcade games. Cant wait to go back and see the new stuff. I enjoyed browsing through all the neat stuff they got. The place is clean. This business is located in a safe neighbourhood.
