My family recently stayed at the Marriott City Centre to watch a baseball game. It was really great to be able to see a MLB game this way. The room didn't exactly look like it did in the pictures but it was still nice. I'm not giving 5 stars for a few reasons. One is that I requested a crib or pack n' play and there was not one. We brought our own just in case, so that was good planning on my part. Second was that I had to take 3 different elevators to get from my room to the pool and I was not a huge fan of having to walk through the lobby, during the game (so there were lots of people), wet and in my bathing suit. Yes, I realize that I could have brought a change of clothes and changed there, but I was with my 4 year old and this was just easier. All of the employees at the hotel we're great! Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. We would probably stay there again, however, it was very expensive. This was the most I have ever paid for a hotel room in my life. But given the fact this was a gift for my husband, it was worth it. It would have been nice if the Yankees won, but I suppose that's out of the hotel's control! 😉

Formerly the Renaissance, the location is the best in Toronto. Bang in the middle of the Roger's Center, if one is a Blue Jay's fan, this is the place to be, in all of Toronto. And better if you are able to score an event suite between floor 1 to floor 4. The staff is absolutely helpful even if always busy. A walk away from Union Station and the UP Express, the place is usually full - mostly with conference goers and the likes. Places to eat around are done a dozen with fantastic choices. 5 *.

Location was amazing. Room was great also. Spacious and overlooked the Blue Jays field. Bathtub didn't drain properly though. Pool was warm and lovely. Great gym equipment. Some staff were warm and helpful, some were not. Overall service level could have been better. Enjoyed our stay!

First went to park our vehicle ourselves and there we no spots available because there was a jays game on and the parking is owned by rogers centre. Had to do valet parking and pay the extra. Not impressed. Go to go into the hotel and had to go through security...checked all the bags and had to be scanned with the metal detector. Go to check in and our room was supposed to be 2 double beds...got 1 king size. Was told there was nothing else available yet the 4 young girls that checked in while we were still there got a room up grade to 2 double beds over looking the ball field. Not bad considering i was told there was NOTHING available. Talked to the manager. He said when you book through a 3rd party you get whatever room is available. Have been staying at this hotel for well over 20yrs when we come to Toronto...different names, same hotel. Never had any issues with what rooms I've booked and what room I've gotten at check in until now. Room...no locks on bathroom door...no tub ONLY shower. NO A HAPPY CAMPER ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MANAGER ARGUED WITH ME. NOT STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN. YOU'VE LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER.

Choose this hotel if you are a fan of the blue Jay and want to have a view on the stadium. The room are of a good size but would need to be refurbish. The AC is so noisy that there is no way you can keep it on during the night. The choice of food at the breakfast is quite limited. Good point, it's a walking distance from the exhibition center.
