Great rink. The change rooms are large and have direct access to the benches. The bleachers in both rinks are heated, and if you are still cold there is a heated viewing area above the dressing rooms. Any 2 ice facility should use a similar design for their rink.

There are some expectations when it comes to arenas in Alberta. We pay high membership fees and annual league fees to support these places and the sports so our kids can have fun. In return, we expect a little bit of fair trade. The main lobby has a total of 4 chairs for everyone to share. The food is very overpriced, and not that great ($5 for 10 mini donuts? Seriously? I can get 40 timbits for that!). The concession staff aren't very efficient and it causes a "cloud" of patrons waiting around the window. They don't have any tables in the lobby for you to sit and eat, so you're forced to place all your stuff on the floor and use up one of the 4 seats. I feel bad for the janitorial staff who have to clean up the constant messes. All in all, I'd rate it 2/5, for the parking lot being nice and the location easy to get to. Oh, and if you charge more than $6 for a poutine, you damn well better not use grated cheese. Edit: I've decided to increase the ranking to 3/5 stars because the owner reached out to me, publicly, to address some concerns and educate me a little bit on the procedures and processes. I do still expect better accommodations for seating, and I feel like this is a pain point for the concession as they probably struggle with a lot of complaints. This is not some small town arena like picture butte or Beiseker, Chestermere is a town of 20,000 people and is a stone's throw from calgary. There is bound to be a lot of traffic to this location.

Shower stalls are tiny and are limited to 3-4 shower heads. It took over 5 minutes of running the shower to get any hot water. Otherwise it's a nice arena.
