Still waiting for my refund back from this club for my daughter's registration in June. I have called numerous times and spoke with someone named Cindy and asked when the u17 team was starting and that the administrator has not emailed or returned my calls. Finally had a email back from Carol Millar stating that she let everyone know in July that there would most likely not be a team ( I was not informed of this and they will be doing refunds, not enough girls for a team, that was about 3 weeks ago. I have made numerous calls and have left messages finally last Tuesday Sept.26 the person who I spoke with named Cindy had finally returned my call, she listened to my frustration about my situation as I need my $340 back for another sport for my daughter. I was also informed the administrator for Prestons FC wouldn't be back for 3 weeks, home on a holiday. She could have emailed or called me back with refund as she knew there was no team . I am now waiting for someone to call or email me back, Cindy mentioned doing e transfer I told her I do not do online banking and a cheque or back in my visa..I am wondering has anyone else sighed up for u17 or was my daughter the only player that registered..she did play in this league last fall. Not at all impressed!!!

Here is my experience with Preston Soccer. I contacted them in June to ask how I can register my son with academic program. The administration told me that he has to go for an assessment and we didas told, few days later I got an email that he is accepted and I can register him in the prospect program. I finished the online registration and I paid online 550 dollars. Early in September I got an email from someone asking how I registered my son without being evaluated. I replied right away that he was evaluated and based on that I registered him. And since that time I didn’t hear back from them. I called so many times, leaving voice mail and sent urgent emails with no answer back or replies. Finally I called from a different phone number and the administrator answered saying there is nothing I can help you with, I told her I want my money back then she hung up on me. Now my son will not play for this fall season since the deadline passed for all the clubs. I will not let this pass and will spread my complaints on social media. I will file a complaint to bc soccer. This is unacceptable.

Well since the club has removed their Reviews section on their Facebook page because of all the negative reviews I will post it on here. I have been told twice that they will "contact me asap" regarding all the problems with their Spring League but no one has reached out to me and on top of that they deleted the complaints so no one else will see them. When I asked the organizer who was sitting sidelines during games doing nothing, why she couldn't referee or help out the coaches or do anything I was informed the league decided that referees would slow the game down so that's why we don't have referees. So on top of not providing proper feilds to practice on, any support for the coaches, or even proper teams, you decide referees slow games down??? These boys are U8! Not 3 year olds. Not only are these kids learning absolutely nothing about the game but there are so many of them not wanting to play anymore because the disorganization and lack of proper playing has really sucked all the fun out of the game for them. Not only is absolutely pathetic how the spring league has been run but what's worse is that no one cares. The only feedback we ever get back is well it's a volunteer run league. Well guess what, so is LUYSA. And they have proper teams, support and direction for their coaches, proper games with nets (we play with pop up nets from practices, I mean seriously), and proper referees. So the kids are being taught and are practicing the proper rules and structure of the game. An absolutely brutal and disheartening soccer experience for our kids and the parents who are handing over all our money and getting nothing in return. I know first hand that the camps they run are well done, so the ability is obviously there. There is just an obvious lack of care for this age group of kids, and spring league in general. I hope for the sake of all the Langley soccer lovers that there are big changes for the organization of this league in the future.

Langley FC is a profesional but welcoming soccer community. Great coaches. Great experience. For a grass roots volunteer based soccer club we are happy with the focus on development and team. The winter and spring academies are great for kids wanting an extra day of training with a paid coach or just wanting to play soccer once a week and work on personal skill.

I have been extremely impressed with Preston GM Langley FC. My daughter has played with the club for three years this fall, and I've since registered my two other children as well. All of the coaches we've had have been fantastic, and the organization of the club itself is top notch. It is a very supportive atmosphere where kids of all levels are welcome. Plus, starting this fall the U5 kids will be playing indoors during the winter, which means parents no longer have to stand in the cold! I would recommend Preston GM Langley FC to any parent who is looking for the right soccer club for their child. They really are the best.
