Waiting for the club to spend some money on effective players. I'll be a season ticket holder for a long time, still, but they're really making it hard to want to do that!

Love them because they are local, but I am tired of the 6 in the back , 3 defensive midfielders and 1 striker...

VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC soccer team Well the caps had a very good season indeed- hovering in and around first place in our conference for most of the final few weeks of the regular season, only losing out on that title on the very last regular season game to Portland. Our playoff run ended a wee bit sooner than we fans would have liked, but how about some perspective...We held last year's champion Sounders goal less for 136 minutes of tightly contested soccer, only to falter in the final 45 minutes. Sometimes to win championships you need a little lady luck as well as talent and strategy. The home games are boisterous affairs. The bc place venue is great- when is being downtown vancouver not great? As far as travelling to the venue goes, one can go from the tri cities to the stadium on the skytrain...The ticket pricing is fine. All in all, watching the whitecaps is not a bad way to spend an afternoon or evening by yourself or with friends. We'll see you next year...oh and congrats to Toronto FC for being the first Canadian mls champion. At least the cup is on this side of the border. John k welsh
