My daughter just completed a weekend training with Brian and I can not speak more highly of his dedication, knowledge and ability to connect with the kids!!! That first day, my daughter came home thrilled to practice her new skills and spent over an hour going over key keeper skills that she had not learned in 2 years on her travel league. Brian's knowledge of this specialized area of soccer made her feel more secure and armed with methods to protect the goal in a safe and efficient manner. My daughter came into class nervous and left wanting to know when she could continue on this learning curve with Brian. He was able to recognize her individual needs personally and athletically and target varied levels in his small group setting. Technique and confidence go hand in hand when he teaches and makes sure every player is hitting their potential!! Brian and his team are the real deal when it comes to true coaches of soccer - you will be amazed with what they can do in a short time!! Findley is looking forward to the next coaching day with Brian!

Brian has been working with my son over the past few months on goalkeeper specific skills and conditioning. From a parent's point of view we couldn't be happier to see the progress our son has made over just a few sessions, but what is more important is that my son is all smiles when he talks about his sessions with Brian and constantly asks when the next one will be. Brian's coaching style is the perfect balance of compassion and kindness while at the same time making our son "toe the line" and work hard, holding him accountable for his progress. We would confidently recommend Brian for any player looking to improve their goalkeeping skills.

I discovered Rochester Soccer Academy during the 2006 winter and was beginning to prepare for my senior soccer season in 2007. It was incredible. The breakdown of the goalkeeper position was absolutely enlightening. Before each session Brian and Shawn introduced our goals for the day. Following the training, we sat for 15-30 minutes discussing the session and how we were able to relate it to our own personal play and previous training. I was an athlete for two academies before I began coaching alongside Brian and Shawn. The more I coached, the more I saw my performance strengthen over time. Their professionalism and knowledge of the game is not only some of the best in the Rochester area, but rather in the state of New York. I highly recommend Rochester Soccer Academy for your child, team, or program in order to take their play to the next level.

I began participating the RESA Goalkeeping Camps around age 12. I had originally taken this camp because I was a field player, who would be the backup goalie, but I enjoyed the camp so much that my primary position was now goalkeeper. These camps really gave me the opportunity to specialize in my position on the field from a young age and gave me the skills and training most coaches wouldn't be able to provide for a goalkeeper. After my first camp with RESA, I was hooked on goalkeeping. I continued to attend camps until I was 18 years old and this positively impacted my performance on the field. Brian and Shawn have the ability to coach different age levels (8-18+) and cater to different skill levels. The coaching staff are very knowledgable about the sport. After perfecting my technique and skills, I had the wonderful opportunity to begin coaching with Brian and Shawn, which further helped me improve my own goalkeeping. I highly recommend the Rochester Elite Soccer Academy to goalkeepers at any skill level.
