The ORIGINAL snowboard shop in YYC, Mission has always been one of the best places to shop for skate, snowboard and BMX gear. Amazing local staff, who have a passion in helping people get the best advice on gear, spots and mountains. Always known to be a friendly shop willing to provide help, advice and customer service.

Edit: Upon multiple revisits I have to say that the over all quality of the staff has improved. Still not my favourite but not bad at all. try to support smaller and local stores, but Mission left me with a bad taste in my mouth after 3 experiences. I called them regarding availability about a snowboard I was interested in, and the lady on the phone gave me all sorts of opinions on why I shouldn't get the board I specifically called about. I then visited in store and ran into her again, and I inquired about getting the same board ordered into the store in my size. After finding out they were going to charge me extra for shipping, I decided to go with another store in town who had free shipping on getting the board in store. She then passive aggressively told me that *once she asks her boss about a special order, you're kind of obligated to buy it, "but it's like, whatever I guess"*. That is ridiculous. Not to mention she followed me around the store like a hawk and kept on trying to "engage me", only to make me feel very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, my last experience was also terrible, as I was looking for a face mask and decided to give them one more try. Ran into the same lady salesperson who just lied about store inventory. Asked if all the face maskes were upstairs in the women's section, she said yup. Went down to the basement and there were probably 15 there. Also recommended a face mask that was "wind proof", guess what. It wasn't. And I can't return it because I tried it on at the ski hill. Maybe I should have just tried it on at the store while bringing in a wind machine. Between the rude salesgirl and the awful return policy, I see no reason to return.

I've been to Mission a couple of times now for various different reasons and I've always found the staff to be very courteous and friendly.... They have a lot of knowledge and expertise in their areas and are genuine in their excitement of helping you get ready for your chosen sport. I will definitely return to Mission for all my Skateboard, Snowboard, and BMX services and products... thank you very much and thank you Blake for all your help and for your excellent attitude and candor....
