Vertical addiction is a great shop with incredible selection of the absolute best outdoor brand. The stars add is knowledgeable and friendly and provide excellent service. I found their knowledge of ski touring equipment exceptional and they did a fantastic job boot fitting.

I love this store! Great selection of goods for climbing and skiing, and the staff know their stuff. Pricing is the same as at big-box stores, but you get way better advice here, and your dollars support an independent business.

This store cares more about money than good service and I do not recommend it to anyone. This year I bought my first tech binding, after a little bit of research I have decided that the G3 ions were the best for me. Went to this store and the guy sold me the demo version of the binding without knowing it. Got them mounted and when I realized that they were demo binding and told them about it, they didn't even care by saying it was the same binding and it as simply more adjustment. I ask for some discount on the binding and told me the best he could was 30% on skins.

Vertical Addiction is a home grown Canmore shop that serves the Alpine enthusiast. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. V.A carries very high quality brands that cannot be easily found anywhere else in the region, including Calgary. They have a great online site too.

Friendly service. Some hard to find climbing gear could be found here. They started bringing some European clothing.
