As a west coast regular, I enjoy the power dry snow conditions here. The Rocky Mountain aesthetic is stunning. It’s a great family resort with some good fun options for experienced skiers. I would consider this place a “fun” resort. Come for the ease of it as opposed to the terrain.

Day lodge way to small for weekend traffic. Hill doesn't get a ton of snow but the runs are fast. They always have 1 or 2 runs closed for racing teams but its not really an issue. Park is fun , mostly rails. Glades after a dump are awesome. Great for kids. If you love the groomers this is a hill for you.

Pretty good hill, but beware that using the Terrain Park will cost you an extra $5. Food is also expensive, but that's to be expected in the mountains. I still had a great time though - nice, wide runs and I will definitely be back! We paid for full price lift tickets that should have included park access - I'd totally understand if we had Costco vouchers, but we didn't.

Their website says tubing is open all week. However, when you arrive on a Thursday with your coworkers for a team-building day, 4 of you don't ski/board and want to go tubing you find out at the wicket that tubing is only open Fri-Sun you end up trying to find other things to do. Would be nice if their website was up to date :(

Closest mountain to Calgary, with enough variety for the whole family. This year has been great for natural snow, but they always have groomed runs for the beginners and pros a like. Tends to be a lot of families and ski teams (major training venue). One of the best things is the easy parking all around the base, just put your gear on at the car and it's 50-100m walk until you're skiing. Also a great drop area if you're not into walking with your boots on.
