A small hill owned/operated by Alberta Province as part of the park. It has enough to entertain for a day though the lifts (4 seat chair and a T bar) are very slow. The facilities are clean and the cafe counter serves basic burger food well. There is a bar with a view of the hill and a 'brown bag' area. Lockers and changing facilities are limited They offer a full range of lessons at beginner standard and it is a good hill for that purpose with enough range and variations to challenge inexperienced skiers and riders. The staff are friendly and helpful and all instructors are CSIA or equivalent certified. It's a small hill... don't expect Whistler or similar and you won't be disappointed. One day only or take the kids...

Great little ski resort. For the prairies one couldn't ask for much more. Quad lift and Tbar, magic carpet for beginners and kids. Restaurant and day lodge and bar. Rentals and lessons. 6 runs all about the same length. There is a slight variation in difficulty. All in all its a great place to spend a day. We love our little ski hill in Cypress Park, Alberta Elkwater.

Being only 45 minutes out of Medicine Hat, the ski hill makes for a quick commute and easy skiing. In addition, the elkwater lake location continues to provide more winter (and summer) activities if you're looking to extend your day trip.

Good hill, not the greatest, but really decent. For the flat lands around Medicine Hat, having a skiing hill is a treat.

The hill here is great for beginners and learning how to ski. They also have some more challenging runs and ski parks. There is a rental shop to rent some ski equipment and ski and snowboard lessons.
