Wonderful place to downhill ski/board or cross-country ski! The trails and conditions are usually amazing and it’s accessible as a day trip from the lower mainland. The lodge is nice and cozy too.

Great small mountain with good powder, however it’s literally impossible to get ahold of customer service to ask some questions, I’ve been calling for 2 days straight clicking through different options for different departments. It’s actually frustrating because I just have a simple question about the seasons pass. I’ve left a voicemail and email with my question and call back number but have received nothing. It’s almost as if they’re closed this week.

Manning Park is another hidden gem in the outdoor adventure category of BC. Only a 2 hour drive from Vancouver, it's a secluded and picturesque getaway that you can easily accomplish in a day. The ski area itself is small and unassuming, with two main chairs that serve all the runs. We arrived on a day that was forecasted to be clear and sunny, and within 20 minutes of our arrival the weather changed from heavy snow to blue skies. Was a beautiful powder day, with fresh tracks throughout many terrain areas and mostly ungroomed loose snow on major routes. The resort has a locals-only, secret hangout-type vibe. Many skilled local skiers, families and seemingly few tourists. Despite being peak season (late December) and an absolutely gorgeous day, lift lines weren't more than 15 minutes at any point; a dream compared to other resorts at this time. At every turn, the staff at Manning Park were friendly, helpful and fun. Manning Park is definitely worth the trip from Vancouver if you want to get away from crowds and craziness in places like Grouse and Whistler.

Great mountain for snowboarding and skiing. The lift is very fast and the staff are very helpful if / when a kid falls off the chair. The slopes are well groomed and marked out where there are some wet spots. The views are really really good, it’s a 360 degree view of awesomeness.

Good small mountain but the lifts are old and break all the time, yesterday I got stuck on the orange chair for 20 minutes because it is too old and unreliable now.
