So dissapointed in my attempt though last minute, my attempt falling apart. Called them on Christmas Eve (I was working until 4) and straight up told them I don't care what the cost or what you have left I need to buy some skis for my family. Asked a simple but blunt question "How late are you open? Got a very confident answer of "8 PM, and that they'll even be open Christmas day" ...i told them that's awesome and I'd see them before 5.... drove right there In the ice and snow to find them closed.
So wanted to support a local business. So wanted this to work. But it kind of made my Christmas die a tad. Usually I don't write reviews for stuff like this. But a phone call back or a warning would have made me feel a lot better. But the enthusiasm of his answer got me pumped to come throw down some money and get some help on something I know nothing about (skis). People wonder why local businesses are hard to keep. Well promising hours, and then not following through is more the reason a online site got my business this year and I even pain the $159 for overnight Christmas delivery. Oh well.
