This is the best family ski hill I have ever been too. There are usually no lift lines. The ski school director makes lesson and Nancy Greene fun. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone including parents have a good time. Friday night Starlight challenge races in February are extremely fun. I highly recommend Fairmont.

Fantastic learning hill! They have rentals for all ages, even for our 18 month old. Took our 6 year old, 3 year old and 18 month old out to learn to ski. The bunny hill was the perfect challenge for their first few times out. Super friendly staff, way better prices when learning, and hot tub admission included.

I've been here for snowboard lessons twice, and have felt so confident after each one. My first lesson had a time mix-up, and the snow school director, Chris, actually took me (and another couple) out to get us lessons anyways. I was extremely appreciative of that, and it goes to show that the staff care about the riders on the hill. My second lesson was with Brett, and although I was with another student that was much younger than me, I never felt like the lesson wasn't tailored to what I needed to learn. Brett was awesome at keeping us both going at the paces we needed to, and had great advice and was helpful throughout the lesson. A++ Brett!! Any other instructors I saw teaching new learners (even the very young beginners) they were so patient and kind and FUN. I saw a young girl on the verge of a meltdown and tantrum for a few minutes and the instructor was able to curb her and keep her having fun while still moving at the pace she wanted to go and keep the lesson happy and fun. I saw that with a few instructors and it was lovely to see. If you're a beginner learner, no matter what age, I highly recommend this hill for your lessons and your first few winters to learn and gain confidence on your skis or board. The staff love their job, and that's evident all over the hill.

This is a great ski hill for the family - the kids love it. Great ski teachers and lots of beginner friendly terrain. Reasonable pricing and a discount for timeshare and lodge guests. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Staff in rental shop are horribly rude! Was so bad we ended up not taking our rentals and not skiing there for the day. The 2 elderly people working in there should not have jobs that require interaction with other people they made it quite an unpleasant experience!!
