I used to shop regularly at Boomtown a decade ago, but I only go in now if I can't find what I want somewhere else. The blonde guy who works in the back is probably the most rude and unfriendly person of anywhere I've shopped in Nelson. It's not just once, but every time I go. It's like asking for help is a major inconvenience to his day.

Although I have enjoyed shopping at Boo town in the past, I am boycotting both Boomtown and the Royal until the owner, Dale, starts being responsible with his dogs instead of letting them run free, sit in hot vehicles while he works, and have litter after litter of puppies which are not raised or rehomed responsibly. Dale, the way you treat those dogs is abusive, make no mistake about that. And the community is watching.
