TL;DR Terrible Bike Service and Tune-Up After breaking a component on my Scott bike I called in with a part description and a part number from a large part distributer, but was unable to get help ordering the part, even though the list Scott as one of the brands they support. I ordered the correct part online and took the bike in afterward to have the gears indexed and a general tune-up done to ensure there was no other damage. I suspected the rear wheel would be out of true and the cables for the derailleurs would need adjusting. I picked up the bike and was told "we tried to true in your wheel. It's not perfect but it's pretty good". The wheel was about 0.080" out of true, and there's absolutely no way the rear brakes would have worked. I thought to myself, "ok, maybe the wheel is bent from the derailleur coming off, and can't be made true again" and left the store. 15 minutes later with a crappy spoke key and using the brake pads I had the wheel back in true and decided to go for a ride. Only then did I discover that whatever adjusting had been done to the cable tension of the shifters meant that it was impossible to shift onto the big ring (at the front). The front derailleur shouldn't have needed adjusting at all, and shifted perfectly before I took the bike in. Go to YouTube before you take your bike here for service.

Decent selection and the staff are pretty good most of the time. Good sales from time to time. Would be nice if staff did more research into what they sell. I know more about the products usually.
