That was such a good experience. We had the perfect weather, sky was blue, no wind.. and the scenery was outstanding.

It's name is accurate! They usually get buckets of snow and it stays cold enough to keep.it light and fluffy (and scare away some of the crowds). Lift speeds are adequate. Ski lodge is just that, a ski lodge. Warm, big tables, burgers and fires. :) Never used it, but there are a number of shuttles at sound very convenient. It's disappointing they don't offer some kind of student discount.

*Editted because they reached out to me and my sister and gave us two free lift passes. So we will be giving them a second chance. Absolutely horrible service today. On both their Facebook page and website they said they planned on being open today. We made the 2 and a half hour drive there to find that they wouldn't be open due to the wind. It was really windy at that moment, but we asked if we could at least have a small reimbursement or discount for next time we came, seeing as we drove all the way from Prince George. They were really rude about it and claimed that they had been posting since 5:00am that they wouldn't be open. We will not be making that drive again anytime soon.

Initially we had some misunderstandings and frustrating things happen when we went up there. However, Powder King handled the situation in a very professional and thoughtful way. They managed to turn a negative experience into a very positive one!
