Great shop with wonderful and helpful staff. My girlfriend wanted to learn to ski so I took her here to rent some ski boots that would fit with some skis we already had, but Dave said she'd have an easier time if they supplied the skis, which they did at no extra cost. The boots and skis worked beautifully and she had the best time and is now hooked on skiing. We'll definitely be back! Bonus star for Rex the dog who hangs out there and lets you shower him with attention.

My friends and I had an overall good experience at Black Dog sports. The rental prices were reasonable and staff was accommodating. We didn't realize they don't rent out helmets, but it was explained to us that this is for safety purposes. I had a great experience skiing for 2 days with my standard rental gear, as did my boyfriend with his snowboard. He bought a helmet which he liked as well. My friend, who is a more avid skier, felt like her skis could've been better.

Easily the best place to go for anything snow sport related. Whether your getting new gear or rentals this is by far the best place to go in Killington. The customer service, expertise, prices and employees are all the reasons why.. I came up for a weekend trip, packed all my gear except forgot my boots. I was pissed but ended up going to Black Dog Sports on local recommendation (super convenient right next to Ramshed entrance) they checked my skis out saw I had a broken binding, probably saving me from breaking a leg. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the part to fix it and saw I was pretty bummed about my performance skis being broken. So, they hooked me up with boots and a set of Atomic Demo skis for the day!! They didn’t have to do this at all but went above and beyond. Can’t wait for the season next year so I can come back and buy my next set of skis and boots from here. Great prices on everything and willing to cut deals if your getting a few things. No one does that up here! These guys know what they’re talking about and will set you up with everything your looking for. Everyone in Black Dog truly just wants you to have good time on the mountain and enjoy the snow. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, 5 stars! Thank you Black Dog Sports!

Knowledgeable staff and owner Dave went over and above to put me on the right skis. Did a great job tuning my daughters skis too. Highly recommended!

Just bought two pairs of skis, a jacket and a bunch of other stuff. Couldn’t be happier with the service and prices. Dave worked his magic matchinf both my daughter and I with the perfect skis. We are thrilled! Dave also worked us a great deal and we will be back the next time we need any equipment!!!
