I have rarely been as disappointed in any business as I am with Sports Page. I just bought cross country skis, poles, and bindings for a snowboard. When I got home, I examined my receipt in detail, feeling a bit of sticker shock and am very disappointed to see that I have been grossly overcharged for everything I purchased. They were supposed to be having a sale, and as the very helpful salesman brought me around to items of interest and quoted me various prices, the clueless girl at the checkout charged me $230 for cross country skis that were quoted to me as $170, $25 for poles quoted to me at $19, and $69 for bindings quoted to me at no more than $65 for a grand total overcharge of $70, even after I stood there and listened to the sales guy tell the girl how much each item should be. Apparently they have hired an inexperienced girl who doesn't listen to ring people up, so save your receipts and check before you leave so you don't waste time going all the way back to this place. I will not be wasting anymore of my time to ever shop here again. Just to update, the manager's response is correct in that they were able to correct my issue over the phone, but when I first called, today, I got the same young woman who rang me up, and her answer was for me to drive the two hour round trip to come back in person. I had since been informed by a friend who also has a store that it would not be necessary for me to do that, so pressed for another solution, telling them to call me back after she had a chance to discuss the situation with her manager. He called and made amends today which I greatly appreciate. I will still recommend that people check their receipts, and listen when sales staff tells you how much you will be paying. Hold them to it. They do offer some great deals if they charge you correctly.

Sportspage has become the #1 Alpine shop in the region - for good reason: enthusiasm, knowledge and significant capital investment in the tuning equipment and inventory of hard and soft goods. April 2018, about a year after my prior review and I have no reason to change my mind. They have an expert boot fitter who takes all the time in the world to make the fit perfect!

Sports page has become our go to place for winter gear over the last couple of years. Some examples of our experience here: - We had an issue with a coat we purchased from the clearance rack, sport's page worked with us and the manufacturer to get the issue resolved, and even had a backup plan in case that didn't work. We thought that was great support for a year old sale on a heavily discounted item. - several times we have gone in looking for very specific snow gear (boots, goggles, bindings, etc). The sales person brought the gear we wanted out, and then offered alternatives that were cheaper or a better value. We have tried their suggestions and found the product was everything they said it would be. At least for me, salesperson recommendations are hit and miss at best. Each if the recommendations from sport's page has been dead on, some of these items going into their third season now. I think their ratings already show how good they are. This shop is working hard to promote winter sports and make excellent products available locally and I have found their prices to be close to reputable online sellers. Give them a shot, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Overall I had a good experience, but it does not sit well with me that they charged me $25 for a "torque test" on my skis when I purchased new boots. This is something that I easily could have done myself had it been actually necessary and had I known it wasn't free. The new boots are the same length & size as my old pair, so there really wasn't any adjustment that needed to be made. I checked and my old boots still fit exactly the same way in my skis, I even skied on them with the old boots afterwards with no issue. The sales guy asked me if I had my skis with me when I purchased the boots, I said I did, and he said they would make sure they were "set up for" the new boots. Never once did he mention that I would be charged for it. Not a bad store, but be aware of the charges for unnecessary services.

Great service. Have bought a pair of ski and snowboard boots from them and love them both. Have everyrhing you need to hit the slopes and tune your equipment
