Place is shady. Purchased the damage insurance on a snowboard rental for my son. While riding he went off a two foot jump and fell and the board cracked. The rental company damage waiver said it would take care of any damage during normal use. However they claimed this was “misuse”. So if doing normal things on a snowboard can constitute misuse, why deal with them. They were looking for $300 replacement charge on a two year old rental board even when we paid for the insurance. Save the hassle and rent from Rogers or Lahouts.

Open on Christmas Day! Could not have been easier to rent skis. So fast and inexpensive

On a whim, I decided to rent a pair of skis for an outing at Loon. So I went online, perused the inventory and reserved a specific pair for a $15 deposit. When I arrived tonight to pick them up, I was told they didn't have the pair I wanted in the right size. No problem, we looked around at other options but none fit what I needed. I own skis and was looking for something with a shorter turn radius. In the end, I decided to just cancel my rental and asked for a refund. I was only offered store credit. Since I rarely ski at Loon and never rent, a store credit has no value to me. What would prevent you from just refunding my deposit? Very disappointing.

Overall wonderful, great knowledge of skis, didn't try to sell me more expensive skis. Employees are friendly and give you the best deal. I got $500 worth of gear for $225. Just outstanding! Plus they have a cute dog that's friendly
