We participated in the mini mudder race for cancer research and it was so beautiful off season. On season its quaint and homey but you'll never be bored, so much fun to be had.

The lifts/slopes are fine, and are generally in good condition, but the chalet is probably one of the most disgusting and bizarre places I've ever been in my life. I don't think they have anyone cleaning it at all between open and close. They charge $1.00 for lettuce or tomato on a burger, they have a giant CRT TV with a "Free" sign scribbled on a ripped piece of cardboard in the middle of the dining area, and it's consistently freezing. There is a bizarre smell that permeates the space that is something like vinegar mixed with rotten cottage cheese. Passive aggressive signs scribbled in Sharpie are all over the place. Honestly, it's one of the least hospitable buildings I've ever been in, so for that reason it's easier for me to just drive a little further to a place whose chalet doesn't resemble a flea market basement.

Runs are well maintained. Small wide runs are suitable for beginners. Safety standards have taken a considerable slide over the last two years. Lift operators are not paying attention to the job. Nearly had my head cracked open twice when I fell off a chair. The second time I fell, the lift operators was looking the opposite direction talking to someone. Four chairs passed before he stopped the lift. The operator did not try to help me or explain himself for not stopping the lift. He clearly had no conception of his incompetence, or the potential consequences to others. He just stood there with a blank emotionless face, waiting for me to get back on the lift. I hope this was an isolated incident. If left unchecked, this behavior is bound to lead to something terrible. Govern yourself accordingly.

Food is delicious, excellent staff, friendly, washrooms clean, skiing is very very good depending on the weather. They cater to your needs as best as possible. There also is a bar downstairs and upstairs when it is open..downstairs all the time. Friday night is fish night and Saturday is wing night..come out and enjoy!!!😀

We love this hill. Great family resort. Great lessons. The chalet is cozy and relaxed. Happy staff make this an enjoyable place to ski at.
