An amazing place to visit whether you're active in winter sports or just there for the winter atmosphere. They have a lot of trendy stores and restaurants available, most of which are obviously priced as a premium. Fun activities for parents and kids alike. The frozen maple sap was just as good as it was when I first tried it as a kid. Just know that it will most likely be a bit colder due to a wind tunnel affect.

Stayed in the trillium suite. When we had issues figuring out the fireplace the hotel sent an engineer quickly to fix the problem. Friendly people and good service. The room was clean and well kept. Having the village so close by was really nice. The views of the mountain and lights they displayed at night were quite beautiful. They have an all seasons outdoor pool and hot tub which was very nice and the pool was surprisingly quite warm. Overall had a great time and experience.

Fun place to visit. Came for the Christmas craft show. Lots to see and do. Plenty of restaurants and shops. The kids loved the mountain roller coaster. We were able to navigate with a stroller. Kids want to come back for some skiing and snowboarding.

Blue mountain is a great place to visit with a group for a ski or snowboard trip! The hills are okay however, the village and lodges are perfect for groups! I always find the hills are a little too over run with lots of line ups to get up the hill. On the other hand, we love visiting blue mountain with a group because the village is a great place to take a break during your day and lots of fun in the evening! The lodges we have stayed in have had hot tubs which is great after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.

I am a southern Ontario snowboarder. Blue mountain offers the most challenging open terrain and steeps for me to practice on, while still being a reasonable drive from home for a day trip. I would consider other smaller resorts if you are looking to practice your park skills. While Blue ultimately falls short of your skiing and snowboarding demands, it's good for families with its high speed lifts and alternative activities including on site entertainment such as snowshoeing and skating and also off site entertainment at the scenic caves and dining in nearby Collingwood.
