My family really enjoys spending a long weekend here during the holidays. While the conditions on the slopes are certainly subject to the climate and weather, the controllable factors of the resort are quite pleasant. The lodge offers welcome respite from the cold with hearty snacks and good beer. The snowboarding instructors are knowledgeable, understanding, and fun to work with. The guy in the tech shop had a ton of good info on maintenance and offered good tips and tricks. I will be back in the future.

My family had a really good day skiing at Searchmont. The hill was smooth and well groomed, not icey at all. The food was surprisingly good and affordable, considering they have a captive clientele.

I've come here a few times and every time has been a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful, rentals are high-quality, and the slopes have always been well maintained. Prices are reasonable, though I do get a student discount, so keep that in mind. I'll be coming back for a while!

Great area...very costly now. The runs are great and the chalet offers great food. They removed the half day option for skiing, the rentals are $42 plus tax and sat and sun is $57 plus tax. Makes for a very costly day if you were going with family.

Crisp day at the hill. Great ski conditions. Groomers if you want them, the woods if you want powder.
