I visited not to long ago to recollect on my time as a volunteer there and visitor. There is a lack of professionalism with this museum that just can not be ignored. Mainly the second floor exhibits were set up so strangely and what looked like a program had taken place there had not been removed so my girlfriend and I were not able to see the entire collection. The lighting on the ground floor is horrible and the fonts that were used made things difficult to read. Looks like nothing has been updated in years. For being a National Hall of Fame I am very disappointed. I have a bachelors and masters in history and have to say this is not a place to recommend unless they get someone who knows what they are doing there. A museum curator is a must for the future of this place. I'll say this too, not worth paying for. Used to be free with suggested donation. Now there is an entrance fee and that fee is not worth it.

Loved the museum. Loved the local connection to the sport as well as learning about connections with special Olympics and War time contributions. The most interesting fact and stories for me was that only used one longer pole instead of two poles.

Really interesting collection with lots of history. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town.

Never busy and has a nice atmosphere. It's cheap to enter, and their exhibits are nice and clean.

Tons of old wooden skis, hand crafted and beautiful. Some fun history. Worth a stop if you are in to skis, local history and skiing.
