Visited again with my wife - this place is truly a great resource. Very comfortable to just hang out and enjoy a snack in the outdoors under the tents. Challenging trails and a super supportive and friendly staff. Terrific Place. Perfect in a lot of ways. It is large enough to have some good amenities - washrooms; bike wash; rest area; well marked trails..... Small enough and informal enough that you feel welcome and comfortable. A great variety of trails - good to learn and practice. And - enclosed so you can feel good with the family of all ages.

This is the most amazing place to mtn bike or hike or run. The trails are impeccable, marked amazingly and so much fun. My sons bike broke on the trail and the mechanic Uri worked on it once he got back to the chalet. He spent a crazy amount of time on the bike, got it working without having to replace expensive parts. I was completely impressed with his skills and even more amazed at the very little he charged us. It just made our experience here that much more amazing.. Worth the drive to experience these trails.

We have visited Hardwood on many occasions and it's always been a great time! There is lots to do year-round and their staff is absolutely amazing. The grounds are maintained and kept nicely, definitely worth the trip.

Such an amazing place and they always have snow when other places out east don't!!!!! I was quite heart broken when I learned their chalet burned down, but despite this their trails are open for business. I just came back from there foe the 4th time in the last year and I never get over how stunning beautiful the nature is on the property. The trails are well groomed and challenging even the easiest one, bit when your done your body will have received a great workout. The staff is super friendly and their prices are incredibly affordable. It's worth the drive up from Toronto every time.
