We visited in the summer, the gondola was really cool, but too expensive to do more than once. The views are spectacular and there are some good hiking trails. The restaurant at the top of the mountain has good food that is definitely worth the price, seems a little bit expensive but the quality is better than expected. The Alpine slide looked cool and we would have tried it, but it started raining. Overall it was a cool place and the gondola and views were worth going once, not sure it's worth the price to go again.

It has just two things gondola n alpine slide. In alpine slide they just handover slide carts to you to carry it from chair- lift to the slide to ride it down,n then deposit it back after the ride ends, i have 3 kids under 8, so u can imagine how difficult it was for me to do that, twice was enough, And there is no body to help you if cart goes off track , we had an incident at dips on alpine slide, lots of scratches head banged on curb, dealt on our own. Overall neat place and fun

This place is really awesome however they close all the runs at 4:00. Dont take a break for lunch because the day is basically over on this hill. There is 4 hours of perfectly good daylight left for the best riding of the day and they aggressively start warning you at 3:00-3:30. Rude staff on the lifts. You pay for a whole day at this beautiful place and they don't even let you enjoy it. Lift tickets are priced for a full day but you can only be on the hill for half a day. Extremely disappointing especially when you drive 8 hours or more to get here. Reply to owner: Night skiing is after dark. I can see you don't have lights however there is almost 4 hours of daylight left when you close. I and many others traveling to visit your place would like to see extended hours. Charge more to cover your labor costs if you have to. People who come this far don't care about the price. They just want to ride as long as possible. Bohemia is closer to me and offers later hours. Especially on the weekends. I will definitely be going there for all of our next year's trips if these hours aren't changed at Lutsen.

Stayed in the A building. Amazing view, the room is beautiful, but the bathtub hadn't been cleaned properly, there was a ring around it like someone had just taken a bath, the toilet was mostly cleaned but around the screw caps on the lid there was obvious urine that hasn't been cleaned. There isn't much for sound barrier, i could hear evrryone closing doors, loudly, people outside partying and the people upstairs walking. I expected more from a place as aesthetically pleasing as this.

My friends and I make a yearly trip here, it's a tradition. Great hills, good people. The only downside (pardon the pun) is there are no lights on the hill, which means the lifts shut down with the sun, around 4. Go early to get your money worth. View from the top is incredible. Just having a cocktail on the chaley deck and looking out at Lake Superior is a must see.
