Our family loves visiting up here, always lots to do and see in the great outdoors or to just relax. With growing popularity it's getting harder and harder to do trips on a budget but it can be done. If you want a little more laid back pace try to visit off peak. For example early December the skiing can be hit or miss but it's a great way to get into the Christmas spirit! As a cyclist there is lots to do: paved paths for a leasure (but not flat) ride, beautiful and challenging road rides and a growing great mountain bike network. At this point there is only down hill riding available during the Crossroads /Canada Cup weekend in May. Area has embraced fat biking in the winter with groomed trails and various locations to rent bikes.

Awesome place to visit in winter or summer. The Village is quite colorful and full of activities for young and old. Restaurants everywhere with different types of cuisines. There are also several hotels or resorts around, most of which offer shuttles to the village and back.

This place is secluded in the mountains. Fill up prior to getting there. Be ready to speak French. Be patient with the parking its very confusing. It may take a while to fins your hotel room. There are 3 main walkways leading to the top, once you remember that the fun can begin. Lots of places to eat. Many gift and specialty shops. Note most places close at 9pm eastern time zone. There are 2 bars that remain open they are at the foothills of the climb. Family friendly atmosphere with lots of ride for all ages. Highly recommended. I gave it a 4 because the free parking was frustrating to figure out. I paid the 15 dollars to park indoors.

Awesome hill to shred! Only downfall is the lineup if your renting equipment. The agony!!! First, an hour (at least) for the pass, then another hour for skis. Once you have your gear then its the best time ever! Courteous people on and off the slopes, lots of ways to go down the hill! Also liked the fat biking! Good workout!

Good place to have fun. More to do in the winter than summer. Still can enjoy the summer here. Pay attention to black fly season.
