My family flew up from Alabama and we were picked up promptly at Burlington airport by a friendly driver from the resort (thanks, Joe). The resort was fantastic. We stayed in the hotel which was modern but had an old world feel. Our room was great. The mountain is beautiful. The kids took ski lessons from great instructors (thanks Tate, Thomas and Bill) and were skiing down the mountain on the first day. The kids also loved the water park and the climbing wall. Everyone was super friendly. We can't wait to go back.

Excellent week on the slopes. I have never liked glades, some powder and Jay peak changed that, though. I spent a solid third of my time in the trees and I loved it. The resort overall was very nice. The general store was a bit pricey, but not horrible, and it was convenient. My stay in the condos was mostly fantastic except that the shuttle wasn't always very speedy and we had some questionably clean bedding on one of the beds. The bathrooms and kitchen were fine. Overall lines were very short while I was there, and the wireless lift passes were awesome. The tram really did not seem worth it though, and I can't imagine how bad it would be like when the resort was busy. It is only marginally higher than the high-speed lift but took far far longer to get to the top (when the wait is included). I was also very disappointed whenever I tried to make last tram but was turned away after waiting in line. They should A) operate until everyone who was in line before close gets up, B) close the line 20 minutes (give or take) before close, or C) count off the number of people that will fit in the remaining trams for the day. By 15 minutes before close, they could know who is and who isn't going to make it, let them know. With the current system you wait around until you're told you're not getting on and may not have a chance to hit another lift.

It’s a true place away from home. The people are extraordinarily friendly simply making you feel truly relaxed. The access to the mountain to enjoy the breathtaking view is easy especially for those who like to hike. It’s a place you definitely want to unwind & it’s not too far from home (Montréal/Laval, Quebec).

Great resort and great amenities. Enjoyed our stay and the staff were great from check-in to check-out. Definitely would like book another family ski vacation here!

Let’s just say Killington might be the “beast of the east” but they ain’t got nothing on Big Jay! Talk about incredible snow quality and absolute massive dumps. Not to mention average snow totals that rival most western mountains. Jay peak is truly the snow capital of the east coast! I’ve been going here for 5 years now, I have never been let down. The lodge is great, can get busy on holidays, (but what doesn’t?) and the views from the top are breathtaking. Being in the woods is something our group loves to do, and at Jay there are always plenty of options to choose from. If your lucky, you may even find a nice GoPro 4 that got smacked off my head this past winter!
