Joan met with my spouse after we had a bad fight that almost ended our relationship . We both inquired info on spousal support and property from separate lawyers and Joan gave much wrong information to my spouse about him not having to be responsible for spousal support and that he has rights to sell our home above me. She gave mis leading information as I have confirmed with bc court on line , crown council at surrey court house and 5 other lawyers. I would highly not recommend her to anyone looking for information or to help them in any family legal . A good lawyer would inform their client of actual law and possibilities that could arise in a case. Fortunately my spouse and I have reconciled at least for his sake legally she would have given him a surprise bill as I also have been informed of my rights and his for that matter shall things go down that path. Sad to see our system go down the drain Lengthy litigation seems to be her game to get more money from her clients . Getting reply back from their office, is a sad cry from trying to say my spouse was not a client - as I have Joan‘a card in hand and a $25.00 consolation receipt with her name on it, I’d be welcome to share. Crown council will speak to anyone on these matters , show up early on wensdays to be sure you are seen and given the correct information. Clearly their office can not even be honest about my spouse being her client for a consultation, let alone the wrong information they provided him with. I will not waste any more time replying back to non sense . Read reviews , go to the court house and get fee legal advice and speak to a few lawyers before giving any retaining fee! I can not recommend this office to anyone !

I would like to take a moment and make a personal review. First off I did have a consultation at Dreyer Davison and was told it would be with Joan Ann ( in witch is noted on my Receipt) After looking at their web site, I was mis lead to think my consultation was with her but is was with an Asian Lady ( Likely a student ) hens the $25.00 for 30 Mins. I did Inquire about some information on if my spouse and I were to separate and what things look like legally with owning a home and children involved together. Chelsie and I have since worked through some things and are happy to announce that we are not only still together after years together but that we are happy and on the same page once again. I would like people to know that I can confirm that you can speak to Crown Council located at any of your provincial Courts at no charge and they are very happy to help you with family Law at no cost to you. After my spouse was able to show me proof retaining from 5 other lawyers she spoke with as well as information from the family court in surrey, I can say that not all information given to me at my consultation was correct and even mis- leading and very likely would have ended up with big surprise costs . They also left out important information that could have ended up being very costly and i was not informed. Details to our case is not as Important as the questions asked and after research I feel cheated of my time..That may be because I was booked with a student again I was told it was with Joan as per receptionist. Shall I ever need legal Advice in the future I would not come back to their office, I would not recommend to anyone. I would also like to note that their Lie's in response to my spouses Review was at the very least not professional and I wouldn't want to have someone representing me in any case. me and my future wife will no longer be responding to any more of this just wanted people to be informed.

I called asking about a cohabitation agreement. The receptionist was rude and had a lot of attitude over the phone. Definitely would not book with them.

Rowan Davison did an excellent job with my parenting case. Took the time to truly listen and focus on all things that matter. Highly recommend him and Dreyer Davison Family Law

Ms. Deol agreed to represent me in a custody case. Ms. Deol was very specific with details and gave the time to vent concerns. Ms. Deol kept track of her hours and handled this dispute in less time than she initially required. Ms. Deol personally showed up to court dates and discussed concerns or issues before every hearing. Ms. Deol helped by obtaining all of the parental rights over our son and a fair child support payment. My son will have opportunities and a safe future because of your support, thank you! Valerie
