Awesome Business for Debt, Financial Solutions or Options

I contacted Cameron Okolita Inc. in Regina about my financial problems. I inquired if they may be able to help me find hope, in what I believed to be a hopeless situation, to regain my financial health. As a senior only receiving OAS and CPP, my income is very limited compared to when I was employed full-time. As well, I have mental health issues that were the reason I retired before I had planned to retire. Cameron Okolita Inc staff responded quickly to my inquiry, and within a week everything was set up and signed. They put a few options forward and I accepted the one that I feel best meets my needs. Amazing staff within the office, and even before I officially entered their office I met a staff member who was so helpful to me (not knowing I was going to their office at that point). I highly recommend Cameron.Okolita Inc. in Regina to anyone looking for help through the struggles of financial overload from credit cards, loans, or debts they need to find a solution to handle.

Over 10 year ago I was introduced to Joe by a mutual client/acquaintance.  Over the subsequent years I have had the opportunity to refer numerous clients to him and his staff for bankruptcy advice and counseling and the feedback from these clients has been excellent. They all extolled the way in which they were treated with respect and dignity and also that they were treated as a person not a number. All feedback about Joe and his team has been positive, and they appreciated, that at the end of the day, the outcome was that they had the fresh start that they were seeking. I have always found Joe and his team to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, extremely accessible and wonderful stewards of their client's privacy. I truly appreciate the job that Joe and his team has done for my clients and will continue to recommend their services in the future.

A few years back (more than 10) I was at a bad place in my life, going through divorce and struggling to live paycheck to paycheck. After much soul searching I realized that I had to do something with my finances, with a young child and another on the way, my life was running away from me. I went to see the folks at Cameron Okolita after a referral from a close friend who knew my situation. I made an appointment and went in to talk to them. I was advised of all my options, was explained how things would work and what to expect. I was never made to feel embarrassed that my life plans had not gone where I had planned or that I was a horrible person because I could no longer afford to pay ALL my bills. Instead the gentleman showed empathy and understanding. I would highly recommend Cameron Okolita. My life, years later, is back on track. After re-establishing my credit, I now own my own house and car. It took many years however; I would never have been able to do that without their assistance of the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I never plan to be in that position again but I was so happy that Cameron Okolita was there to help me get my life back on track. I am more than happy with the service I got.

I would definitely recommend Cameron Okolita to anyone struggling with their debts. I was at the end of my rope and couldn’t pay all my bills. They met with me and explained my options and started the process as soon as I was ready. Now I have one monthly payment for all my debts that is a fraction of what I was paying before. The collection calls and letters have stopped completely! I really liked the financial counselling courses as they helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses in budgeting. The counsellor was knowledgeable and I didn’t feel judged. She helped me create a game-plan to improve my monthly spending habits. Now I feel like I can plan for the future. Thanks again!

Thank you Wendy for your patience and guidance. When I first came to Cameron Okolita I was not sure what to expect. I know that I am not a big file as I have low income. However your front desk personal always offered me coffee or water whenever I came in and treated me with courtesy and respect which I liked. It made me feel comfortable. Shawna explained both the bankruptcy and proposal options to me even though in my own mind I knew that bankruptcy would be the way to go. The bankruptcy signup was made easy to understand and Shawn did a great job in explaining the process to me. The counselling sessions were also good and I did pick up a few pointers. In fact, you gave me some information and phone numbers for low income and rental help from the province. Maybe the thing I liked about you guys was that you never judged me and solved my debt problem for me. Thank you again for everything.

If I was able to leave a 0 star rating I would. First the receptionist is not friendly at all, I have been sitting in front of her waiting for an appointment and seen her be very rude to other staff who in turn looked scared. There is no confidentiality at all, as I over heard staff in the office discussing other clients in a negative way not to mention files in my view while in my appointment I could very clearly see other peoples names. I actually found out someone I know is in bankruptcy because I seen her file on the floor. Nice in the beginning yes but then are not so willing to help after the fact. Also I was told that they have to give you your GST back after your bankruptcy is done and the owner apparently doesn't do that, I was told this is illegal. The lady I did my counselling session with seemed very sarcastic and was not listening to me or my needs at all she just kept over talking me and telling me her money issues in the past so she knows my struggle. That did not make me feel good at all, I thought counsellors are suppose to listen and guide you. I hate that I have to deal with these people.
