I love this studio. It's a beautiful serene environment to practice. There are more props than you can possibly imagine. And the guides are extremely helpful and supportive. I've read some complaints about it being too advanced but there are plenty of options provided for all levels. If you are new to yoga, I would recommend taking the beginner class. Also note that the Sattva sequence is set each month - so you may find that some practitioners are more comfortable with the flow. Don't worry about others around you...if you focus on your own practice you'll love it. Emily, Jade and Angela in the AM are amazing!

I've been to several yoga studios in Edmonton and have had memberships before, but this is by far the best one I've been to of them all. The studio itself is quite lovely and I immediately felt calm walking in. Instructors are friendly and engage in each person's practice to help them make it better. I'm currently on the new student deal, but I will definitely be purchasing an ongoing membership at the end of the month!

When you first step foot into this yoga studio you can feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere! The place is absolutely beautiful and has one of the best views of the city! It’s always nice to show up a little early just to take in everything. I’m a beginner with yoga and I made sure to take one of their more easy going classes which I would highly recommend! Don’t be afraid to ask for some tips before or after you begin! They happily helped me figure out what I could do to make a movement easier for me! You can tell there’s absolutely no judgement! I felt very comfortable in this space so if you’re new to yoga or are looking to get back into it, I really recommend trying out SATTVA!

LOVE this studio and all the people that work there! My practise deepened significantly after 2 months of attending classes here comparatively to 10 years of practising at other studios. This studio is one of a kind in my opinion. All the yoga studios I've been to up until this point have a very "Western Yoga" feel where it's primary on focus is on the physical practise. Sattva Yoga Studio is the most "Traditional Yoga" studio I have ever come across. Their school teaches you about breath, body, and mind. They also offer a Satsang and Meditation on Wed nights. The only other place I've ever experienced that was when I was practising in India. You can check out Rameen's (the owners) recordings on Sound Cloud 👌. Highly recommend checking out this studio 😊👌❤️🙏

Without a doubt the most kind hearted, non judgmental , nurturing yoga space i have ever experienced. From the moment you enter you're greeted by a warm and zen filled space. The all levels practice is strong, i encourage beginners to take the beginner class. If you're ready to take your practice to the next level, this is the place! The guided breathing and meditation practice that follows is very settling. Every month is new sequence. They are always looking to evolve and they offer many workshops and retreats around the world. Sattva school of yoga has become my second home.
