I tried the traditional hot yoga- waaaaaay too hot. I felt dizzy and couldn't focus on the instructors words so I had to leave the room early. I've done hot yoga many times and have never had an issue. When I looked around the room many people had to lay down to take a break (due to the heat I am assuming). I love yoga and also enjoy the workout it gives, but fail to see the benefit in just sweating your a** off. This did not increase my heart rate or challenge my strength from the poses while creating mindfulness, you're just wet due to the humidity/heat in the room, it's deceiving to think you're getting a workout. I love the practice of yoga and the mindfulness it brings but this was too much, and too hot to even focus/relax. Also your liver and kidneys do a great job of "cleansing your body from toxins", which does NOT come from sweating in a hot room, educate yourselves people. Was also disappointed that there were no blocks to support my body in the poses, I am not flexible enough to touch the ground!

Instructors - 5/5 Stars. They are fantastic. The classes isolated from the business/customer service aspect are great. The instructors are energetic, and I've always found that I leave feeling that I've achieved the work out I had targeted. Customer service - A deterrent. Background: I used to go to yyc cycle for three years and never encountered any issues - their customer service and classes were phenomenal. I moved to the NW which is why I switched to Crowfoot. This studio overbooks their spin classes. They offer a wait list which is standard to spin/yoga studios however the vast majority of studios will only cater to wait listed individuals and offer a spot to these people during the last 2-3 minutes before the doors to class closes pending their is a spot available. Unlike most studios, this studio offers spots to wait listed individuals 15- 20 minutes before the class starts, so for me that's an issue. If you have booked the class, I hold the opinion that you shouldn't have to be 15-20 minutes early for a class in order to be given the spot you signed up for but I am assuming that this represents an opportunity for the studio to make money off of two individuals much in the same way that airlines overbook in the hopes that someone won't show up at all for a flight. Some people would be fine with this policy. Convenience factor - I live in a surrounding community. I work in a demanding professional health care field that leaves little time for exercise and so I will continue to go to this studio for it's proximity to where I live and my lack of time to drive to Kensington to YYC. If a different studio were to open up within five minutes of the Crowfoot studio, then I would likely try that studio.

TERRIBLE customer service! I came to the class 1 minute late and they don’t let me in the class but also NOT reschedule me to a different class while it took me 25 mins to get there and I had to pay for baby sitter to leave my newborn twins home. They said it’s because of their policy but I think with a customer service like that ALL THEY WANT IS MAKE YOU PAY. It’s NOT a proper way to do business or running a gym where you should make it a POSSITIVE, fun environment with lots of MOTIVATION!!! People go to work out or yoga to get reenergized and relaxed too - NOT to get more stresses. Please Go to YYC-Cycle instead and forget about this class!

The staff are amazing they make you feel welcome. With great advice, the first time ever doing yoga and at first I had fear when I parked my vehicle but the first steps into Hot Yoga on Crowfoot & Spin they made me feel no fear. The instructor was nice I am so happy I discovered yoga. Tried the spin class and WOW great set up great instructor. Hands down I recommend this place.

I have never been to any other gym, club, workout facility quite like this one. I love it and look forward to attending my classes every day. Fantastic people both in and outside the classes. I can't say enough great things about Crowfoot HY without sounding ridiculous actually. ;). LOVE LOVE LOVE the place and I will be a life long member!
