If you have never tried yoga or consider yourself a "yogi" and haven't gone to Expand Yoga then you HAVE to go check them out! The instructors there are all so friendly and welcoming! The studio is clean and has a great vibe! I defiantly have found a great addiction and recommend everyone to try it out before you say "yoga isn't for you" Liz and Matt (the studio owners) are so welcoming and approachable! easy going & never make you feel judged or unwelcomed. I highly recommend original hot classes!

Practicing at Expand completes me. From the soft touch and warm caring hearts of the owners and instructors, to the large studio with windows, to the sweet black dog (Oscar) that greets arriving customers, there's no better place in all of Tacoma to practice hot yoga. Nothing compares..... Can't wait to recover from spine surgery so that I can go back!!!

Best yoga studio in Tacoma. Great teachers.

I've been going here since I attended college and have felt that it was always a safe place to be. The instructors have always been welcoming and helpful every time I come in. I've been battling health issues and being here with how calming and supportive everyone is has made me a lot stronger both outside of the studio and on my mat. Hot yoga can be extremely hard just because of the heat so make sure you do it multiple times and do listen to your body as you practice. You know your limits and how much you can push your self. One of the instructors once mentioned that even if you just lay on your mat for the entire class in Shavasana, you are here and that is something to celebrate.

This is an amazing studio. The teaching is extraordinarily excellent. The owners love what they do and it shows. This is an perfect studio for beginners, if they listen to the instructors and do not push themselves to do what they cannot do.
