I first discovered Curative Yoga in January 2017 after a year long hiatus from Yoga as a result of surgery for a torn rotator cuff. I had been practicing yoga for several years prior to my surgery, but when it came time to get back on my matt, I wanted to find a yoga studio that was more than just another place to work up a sweat a few times a week. Fortunately, after trying several different types of yoga, at several different studios, I discovered master yoga teacher Naader Shagagi and Curative Yoga. What I liked best about Curative Yoga and that first class with Naader was that it wasn’t just another workout. Instead, Naader and Curative Yoga gave me the opportunity to develop physical, emotional and spiritual balance. I enjoyed that first class so much, that the next day I purchased an annual pass and have been practicing yoga with Naader regularly at Curative Yoga ever since. If you are looking for a new yoga studio, or are just getting started with yoga, I highly recommend you give Curative Yoga a try. Curative Yoga is more than just another corporate yoga studio. Curative Yoga and Naader are family.

I have been practicing yoga for 6 years with several different studios all over the area. All good in their own rite, but I always felt like something was missing. That was until I stumbled upon Yoga Kingdom one day. The first thing you see as you walk up the stairs is a sign which reads, "Welcome to your real home". Never could I have imagined in my wildest dreams just how true this would prove to be. Yoga Kingdom truly is a sanctuary, where yogis from all walks of life, can come to practice the ancient science of yoga & meditation.

It has been over 16 years since I've first taken classes from Nadder. His yoga classes that began up in Mt. Washington were and still are monumental in my well being regarding the severe asthma I HAD! I rarely have asthma attaches since my first few classes. If I do start wheezing I just do a 90 minute session of his original DVD and no more asthma! His teachings and how he would come by and move you into a better position was wonderful! I learned so much about my yoga poses I owe alot of my good health to him and his practice. Thank you Nadder and your belief in yoga. It has made my life better by far. I may live in Arizona but your memories and how you care will always be with me.

Yoga Kingdom Sanctuary is definitely a hidden jewel in the city of Pasadena. Located near the busy streets of Lake and California, it is often missed or overlooked due to the surrounding beautiful trees. The studio is not too big but still has two large rooms with plenty of space for yoga practice. It can definitely accommodate over 25 people. Trust me, I've had my foot stuck out the door one time because it was so packed! The place doesn't smell like gross body odor and they keep everything maintained to give you that comfortable homey feeling, with a nice incense aroma to keep you peaceful and calm. Some people will complain about it, but complainers will always complain. When you are at ease, there is nothing to complain about. **hint hint** The Curative Yoga they teach is a great flow and series created by the Master Teacher, Naader Shagagi. It not only works on your physical body, but gets you to enter your mental thoughts, emotional feelings, and spirituality all at the same time. Through that, you discover that there is much more to life than just work and materials. There is much more to yourself than just a physical aging body. For those who love to practice yoga as a means of working out to gain strength and flexibility, this place will give you that and more. You will definitely leave not only stronger, but happier.
