Great teachers, friendly welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for beginner and expert yogis alike looking to improve their practice

One of my favorite yoga studios! I have studied Iyengar Yoga with Ruth & Vic for the past few years, and love the warm, friendly atmosphere and tremendous knowledge of the instructors here. Iyengar yoga is structurally based and designed for healing and balancing the body. The different levels and non-judgemental approach are welcome. Love this studio!!

This place is in line with authentic yoga practices in the style of the master himself - Iyengar. They seem dedicated to genuinely help you reach your best without any pressure.

I love this place. The teachers are fantastic, and Vic and Ruth treat you like old friends the minute they meet you. The welcoming atmosphere and the quality of Iyengar instruction is second to none. Having done many types of yoga, I would have to say that Iyengar may not be for everyone, especially those who want to flow and sweat. Iyengar uses a lot of props and a lot of time is spent ensuring proper form. Though I haven't been able to get my flow going in these classes, they have definitely made me a better yogi. I've also come here for prenatal yoga which was great.

Really solid, no nonsense yoga studio. There is a great community of regulars who go (confession: I'm somewhat sporadic), and fantastic instructors. The quality of teaching is the best I've experienced (I've tried about 4 other yoga studios in the city), and it's really focused on doing the moves properly (and less so on being fancy or spa-like). The classes have had a nice progression to them, e.g. taking you from beginner to more advanced poses as weeks go on.
