I’ve been doing Ashtanga Yoga for years and I learn something new every single practice at CAYS. I highly recommend the school to students of any level. The integrity of the teachings, the emphasis on building strong foundations in yoga, and a genuine feeling of community make Calgary Ashtanga Yoga School my top pick for anyone looking to make yoga a sustainable part of their daily life.

Calgary Ashtanga has a wonderfully warm and welcoming environment. Since starting here, I have connected to yoga in a way I never expected. This is due to the care and the passion brought through in the teaching which extends far beyond what I previously believed yoga encompassed.

Jeff Lichty is simply the best. We are so lucky to have such a highly skilled, trained and practiced Ashtanga instructor here in Calgary. Jeff is the real deal, and the Calgary Ashtanga school feels like home to all who attend. I highly recommend this studio to any and all interested in the Mysore practice.

We are blessed to have Jeff Lichty here in Calgary. His knowledge of the Ashtanga style of yoga is deep and true. He is an inspiration to all of his students, with his own personal dedication to the practice and the lineage, with his depth of knowledge of the human body and his kind spirit. His knowledge of pranayama practices (the breath) helps to move us further into the practice. He works with all levels of participants.

5 star Jeff's awesome. Stresses the importance of correct posture and takes time to make sure you have the posture correct.
