In town on a training course. Trained at Goodlife St. Albert on both days and had the good fortune on both days to deal with Daniel at the front. Very personable and a great ambassador for the brand. Inside the facility is clean and there is plenty of equipment at the times I've attended. Look forward to training here again. Thanks Daniel.

Normally, I would have no complaints because this is my favourite location of the few I’ve visited. However, I noticed that lately the overnight cleaners have changed up their routine a bit; mopping the floors at 9:30 in the evening...they have no courtesy to the members when doing so. It’s still busy (approx 20 people) upstairs and they go wherever they please and sometimes literally keep me from continuing my workout. It’s either that, or I barge myself in their way. On two occasions, they mopped underneath the bench while I was mid-set. They also did it to another guy in the same fashion. I don’t find this acceptable and I could see a few other members a little ticked off about it as well. Please make some changes or communicate this to the night crew or I’m considering going to a different location. The other complaint, which is no big deal, is that the dumbbells only go up to 100 pounds while other clubs have heavier. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Goodlife is the best gym in town! There is loads of equipment, clean facilities and great staff. Daniel and Kelson are especially welcoming. They know me by name and make the gym feel inviting and friendly! Thanks guys!

NOT A WEIGHT LIFTING GYM (NO POWERLIFTING / OLYMPIC LIFTS) ------------------------------------------------- as a gym-rat , i gotta say, this gym is pretty nice, the staff is awesome, HOWEVER, coming from Québec, this gym is rather dissapointing for hardcore weight lifters such as myself.... there's ONLY 2 Squats racks, and ONE DEADLIFT AREA !!!.... Also there's NO Olympic lifting area , so no clean' Jerk , no snatchs, no muscle ups, nothing. But it gets the job done , and the wifi's pretty good

As a newer location for Goodlife fitness the place is clean and tidy (aka not run down like some of the older clubs). Locations and hours are also good. I quite like the big windows and tall ceilings to give the place an airy feeling (this is a big pro for me). My only small concern is that the front desk staff are never particularly friendly - I am not sure what their purpose is, as the key tag scan doesn't really need them.
